Norfolk County Commissioners Honor Iraq Veteran

Norfolk County Commission Chairman Francis W. O’Brien (left) presents a citation to US Army Staff Sgt Francis Vitiello of Dedham upon his return from two tours of duty in Iraq.

On behalf of the residents of Norfolk County, the Commissioners thanked him for his service in a reception prior to their regularly scheduled Wednesday meeting.

Staff Sgt Vitiello also received a proclamation from the office of State Senator Marian Walsh and a United States Capital flag from Congressman Stephen F. Lynch’s office.
