Personnel Manager
The office of Personnel Services is responsible for overall administration and monitoring of the county's group insurance plans, including health, dental and life insurance for the county's 600 active employees and for providing some insurance services to its 400 retirees.

This office customarily handles 30 to 40 calls a day from employees and retirees needing assistance on claims or just information regarding insurance matters.

Personnel Services maintains the county's personnel records and coordinates all matters relating to worker's compensation.

Office staff seeks to utilize the county's integrated computer system software by gradually converting records stored on earlier software to more up-to-date office documentation.

Another important office function is tracking insurance costs attributable to departments with dedicated revenue sources to insure proper reimbursement to the county's general fund.
